I made this drawing after reading a great fanfiction, "A Thousand Years", to "Shadow Wolf 359" at FanFiction.com... I really liked this scene where 'Bane', Raziel's horse, wanting to get back in the midst of the chaos to look for his owner whom was captured...

Kain was esp. hard to draw - as I've never drawn anyone riding a horse before, and drew this outfit simply because I loved it & it suited him better than what I thought of before it... The horses armor I drew from I picture I had saved from DAZ3D.com from a very long time ago... It didn't look that good on them as I've made plentiful of mistakes, and the chainmail isn't that good... The background wasn't any easier... The cracked wall is supposed to refer to Avernus that should be in flames due to the war, and that's where the lighting was based on... it was near dawn anyway!

I had fun drawing it... And, ~krazzydragon33, thanks for your patience & advices! And for 'Shadow Wolf 359' as well for her beautiful fanfic & support! ;)

Haha, I remember that scene! Your attention for detail is amazing, it makes the drawing more lifelike.Kain is a bit too stiff (?) for someone riding a horse and trying to keep another horse calm at the same time, but everything else is just perfect. I really envy your horse-drawing skills.

Thank you!!! Well, about Kain, I guess you're right, but it was my first time drawing someone riding a horse so, I didn't really how to make it look normal in the situation he's in!!! :shrug: I'm also not that much into details, but I try to make it acceptable by me, at least, before finishing up!!! :)

I also forgot to say that I took it in my mind that Kain is so a powerful vampire that he didn't have to make that much of an effort to deal with the situation at hand, or what do you think??? :?
